Well I'm all of a lather, hash me too and cue righteous indignation, just WHAT do you think to this advertisement by Bradley Laboratories from 1945....... this is wrong on like, sooooo many levels innit.....? First of all the advertiser has ASSUMED the GENDER of "them" in the photograph, not to mention that "them" are not being treated with equality and anyway should we really have a spirit of competitiveness between the genders? No binary or non binary person should be beaten either physically or in any form of competitive endeavour, so how very dare you.

Today, we are going to talk about photocells and in particular 'gas amplification,' an interesting phenomenon shown by gas filled photocells and I was reminded of a hilarious occurrence when a vintage radio 'expert/forum gobs__t' proudly visited proclaiming that he had just 'stolen' a Baird Televisor lamp and on proudly producing it with a smug flourish, I was able to deflate his arch sense of triumph by regrettably informing him that in actuality he had 'stolen' a Mullard 56CG photocell.
