ECC34,SMALL SIGNAL, OCTAL

The ECC34 double triode is a low impedance version of the ECC32.  Contemperaneous Mullard publications describe the ECC34 as a low impedance double triode with separate cathodes for use as a combined frame time base oscillator and current amplifier and instrumentation amplifier.

The ECC34 is pin compatible with the ECC32 and it draws the same heater current as the ECC32, but it has 30% of the mu/gain/amplification factor as an ECC32, and 50% of the gain of a 6SN7GT. The type finds use by those interested in utilising a low gain ECC32 equivalent at a lower price - interestingly, the ECC34 seems to be as scarce, if not more so than its powerful cousin the ECC32!!!
