Tripletone was a small electronics manufacturing company based at 241A Broadway London SW19. Their models were quite practical, but with a rather outdated aesthetic design. The amplifiers had genuine glass fronts and dual-concentric tone controls - even a midrange control. . Their speaker cabinets had a rather ugly design, and had a dual-cone 8 in. full-range speaker installed.

Tung-Sol started off in 1907 when they developed the first successful tungsten filament headlight bulb for automotive use. The experienced gained allowed them to pioneer in 1913 the two filament high and low beam headlight in a single bulb. They also developed the flashing indicator, inventing the bi-metallic relay for virtually every American car manufacturer until the 1970's In the 1920's they entered the electronics field and applied their basic company policy "make the best that can be made." Tungsram of Tottenham, London 1933 Private company established, a subsidiary of the United Incandescent Co of Budapest, manufactured valves by importing and sealing of parts made elsewhere. WWII: started production of valve components that it could not purchase. 1952 Controlling interest acquired by Philips Electrical Ltd . Mullard took over management of British Tungsram. 1961 Manufacturers of wireless and other valves, industrial and domestic lamps.

Valvo was shortly after the launch of Radio (1924 in Germany by the X-ray tube company CHF Müller Carl Heinrich Mueller Florence called "X-Smith") as "radio tube factory in Hamburg 'in Hamburg, was founded. She placed first amplifier and transmitter electron tubes (set 1975) for the then young and expanding broadcasting ago. The name Valvo, derived from the English word "valve" (tube), stood for novel types of tubes, which were so common that they sometimes, like the 1924-built triode "normal tube", as "Valvo normal" were known.
