On offer today we have a HEATHKIT C-3U R-C BRIDGE
Front panel cosmetics are reasonable and the case could do with a repaint, particularly the top plate. The device is cabled with two core wire, I would advise fitting three core and earthing but the unit has been PAT tested as a Class 2 device and passes.
Ideally the two main 8uF @ 500V electrolytics inside could do with replacing for more modern units but the unit works fine as you can see and has the bonus of a MINT and bright EM34 magic eye - itself worth a few quid! In one of the photos you can see a 470uF 16V capacitor being tested, and the corresponding vernier dial result which shows calibration appears OK.
