AMPLION, ACTIVETTE ,MEDRESCO, HEARING AID, BATTERY CHARGER ,MODEL HB

This small 1950s MEDRESCO hearing aid battery charger would be a wonderful addition to any collection of medical instruments or hearing devices! I have never seen another!

Medresco was the first UK health service (NHS) hearing aid device provider.

It was made by AMPLION (1932) Ltd, London W1. Amplion are better known as manufacturers of Amplion loudspeakers, public address equipment and wireless receivers.

The kit was used for reactivating hearing aid dry batteries, 15, 22, 30 and 45 volts H.T and 1.5 volts L.T. when connected to a 240 volt AC mains supply or Medresco batteries via a 4-pin midget socket.
