These high gain special quality triodes were designed originally as a telephone repeater amplification device, however, their small package and correspondingly large performance has made them popular for many audio applications.
At the top of the 'desirability tree' are the Western Electric tubes - vastly overpriced in my opinion, in third place, are these guys, getter, sold to the US Air Force and it is a small stock of these that we have available .
Characterised by a much rounder sound than the Western Electric device whilst having and incredibly rigid electrode cage these are superb devices and the cachet of having specially selected USAF devices cannot be discounted.
We only have limited numbers of these beauties so buy and try and come back for more to lay in a stock at a keen price point.
