I just love the thrifty solutions of yesteryear, maybe its because I am a Yorkshireman, maybe because I am a pauper but whatever, what do you think to THIS little dodge:-

I may try this trick with a one armed anatomical skeleton I cannot sell - is that what is meant by single ended I wonder.......?
