THE ANTICIPATION OF CHRISTMAS

Well, I wonder how many of you when young had an unerring sense of anticipation at Christmas and how old were you before this was dulled at the thought of Aunt Hortense Janus and Uncle Hugh sending a Bri-nylon, hand knitted orange balaclava for use during the immediate winter.....

Me, I was always excited by the thought of that traditional staple that is the Christmas Annual - indeed I am hoping someone will send me a Viz album this year so I can hanker after the days of yore when one, or all of the following might turn up under the Christmas tree!!!!
