TELEVISON PROGRESS THROUGH TO 2026

Who would have predicted how television would influence our lives? Here we start our journey in 1928 with an affluent family crouched squintingly round a three inch display tube whilst dad tries valiantly to synchronise sound and picture:-

Moving on 20 years or so we postulate whether or not Telex, Teletext or even a live news feed will replace the newspaper, well, it certainly has at Mullard Mansions: -

Moving a further 20 years to 1958 we find mother is to be bought a television - is this the 20th century equivalent of mother's ruin I wonder?

Fast forward nearly 60 years and the genius that is Blowers shows us that the ruin is complete,  Purple leg blotch, tramp stamp tattoos and home pink hair dye shows us the uncomfortable 21st century truism,   FFS, I know someone uncomfortably close to home who emulates this vision..........  even without an 80 inch OLED screen in sight............
