Alas, Joe Biden doesn't have a soldering iron named after him but interestingly did have a radio related nickname during his formative years.  As a child, Biden had a debilitating stutter that  made classmates mockingly call him “Dash,” likening his staccato to Morse code, and “Bye-Bye,” on account of his attempt to say his last name.
