AH, THE 1970'S, A TIME OF INNOCENCE WITH A PLEASURE MACHINE

AH, THE 1970'S, A TIME OF INNOCENCE WITH A PLEASURE MACHINE

The 1970's..... purple suits twinned with sky blue shirts, the orange feature wall, bell bottom flares and platform shoes.   Garry Glitter and glam rock, those were heady days and so it seems from this exciting advert for an unmissable consumer durable of the electronic kind:-

Guaranteed to make even Mrs Mullard Magic happy, yes, it's a pleasure machine, did it come in a plain brown paper wrapper one must wonder?  Never has a lady fawningly eyed me with such adulation when I presented her with a Coke, Fanta or Dr Pepper's.  I feel I must have missed out during this decade when I was aged between 9 and 19, C'est la vie!"

Is it just me or does the chap look a little like everyone's favourite ginger complete with a  quasi-mullet barnet whilst oozing sartorial brownness?  Could it be a 1970's manifestation of that tragi-comic spare, Prince Harry?   If so the sylph like Jaclyn Smith clone could have been the angel of his dreams, again I wistfully whisper 'Cest la vie!'
