On offer today we have a nice set of standard Type HS-33 headphones as issued to USAF aircrew during WWII and into the post-WWII USAF period, such as Korea.
The headphones comprise the HB-7 headband, two ANB-H-1 receivers (made BY UTAH USA) a connected by an integral HS-33 cord but without the PL-354 phono style plug - it has been de-soldered some time ago and fitted with a Bulging6mm Jack plug.
The HB-7 headband has been personalised with the inked notation, "MONTY" , Monteiro, Charlie Flight. The impedance of the phones has been measured at 285 Ohms.
