R1155, T1154, STATION AERIAL CURENT METER, AE METER, 10A/12227,
R1155, T1154, STATION AERIAL CURENT METER, AE METER, 10A/12227, This is the very early version with the offset zero control. Meter is taut band and well balanced. What appears to be caring on the meter glass is in fact a layer of celluloid - an early form of safety glass - to stop glass fragmentation from the effects of 20mm cannon shells from Me 109 & FW190 or flak fragments - the least of an aircrew's problems in such situations I think.
