On offer today is a Pye  P59CR car valve radio from 1953   Looking at the instrument tag pate. the number is shown as P59CR - from this notation it would seem that this is a 12V model whereas the P58CR is a 6V model.

Cosmetically, the front fascia is a little tatty but the all important glass tuning scale is in superb condition.  All knobs are present and seem to operate well, the cabinet shows patina but in general the black finish is in good condition.

It is obvious that this radio has not been powered for many years hence this scarce car radio is offered SOLD AS SEEN WITH NO GUARANTEE FOR RESTORATION
