EDL Lens-Lite Hawk, 1940's magnifying lamp in bakelite and steel, - original box as new.
Now this is quite something, it's one of the famous 1940's EDL lens-life lamps and it's in pristine condition. These are very rarely found let alone like this one in it's original box. A simply lovely thing, the only minor detractor is slight paint loss where the arm meets the base as pictured but to be honest, this adds to it's charm - find another if you can but I'll warrant that this example is the best available.
EDL are a long established, lighting manufacturer, starting business from their fatory showroom in Birmingham in 1922 and still in operation today supplying specialised lighting solutions for the industrial and healthcare industries - have a look at their Twitter feed and see their commentary on this particular lamp.
